Kids & CLimbing
Climbing is a forever sport. Some of us wish we'd started sooner.
Boulder Union is where your kid gets that head start. No tryouts, no pressure — just a wall and the time to figure it out.
The Rules
Bouldering has real risk. These rules keep your kid and every climber around them safe.
kids can start climbing here at age 5
kids under 14 need to be actively supervised at all times. One adult (18+) for every two kids.
when you’re on the wall, kids have to stay off the mats. When their turn to climb, you can step back and watch.
Kids 14 and up can climb on their own. A parent or guardian still have to sign their waiver.
The mats are for climbing and falling. One climber per program. No running, standing or sitting on them when not climbing.
Every first-time climber gets a safety walk-through from our staff before they climb. kids will have to demo that they can safely fall.
$12 Under 12 - Every SaturDay

After school
programs
We work directly with local schools and youth groups in New Bedford to bring climbing into the after school routine. Sessions run 1–2 times per week and give kids a place to move, connect, and build something real.
